Guarantees
All treatments are performed by expert dentist, dental nurse or hygienist, which have not only met UK industry standard but the high standard expected by White Dental Practice.
We will advise good oral habits to ensure good oral health – however if you need further clarification, please let us know during your check-up.
As with any dental practice, we cannot provide guarantees for any dental treatments performed at our practice.
Factors Beyond Our Control:
It is important to understand that once patients leave our practice, dentists have no control over the various potentially harmful conditions to which dental restorations may be exposed.
Potential Causes of Dental Restoration Failure:
- Mechanical Failure: Dental restorations (such as fillings, inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers, and dentures) can fail due to accidental or intentional contact with hard objects or surfaces, including but not limited to a ball, lamp post, floor, fingernail, pen, bottle, glass, cutlery, or olive stone. Clenching and grinding habits, whether during the day or night, can also contribute to this type of failure.
- Biological Failure: Restorations may fail due to decay or gum disease, often linked to factors such as neglect, a poor diet, smoking, inadequate oral hygiene, or a lack of regular dental check-ups and hygiene appointments.
Comprehensive Support:
We are committed to providing thorough professional knowledge and guidance before, during, and after dental treatment. This support aims to help patients maintain their restorations for as long as possible by minimising exposure to harmful factors.
